Tantalum Material

Tantalum is a grayish silver, dense, ductile, very hard, easily fabricated, and highly corrosion resistant metal. It is part of the refractory metals group and occurs naturally in the mineral tantalite, always together with the chemically similar niobium.

Tantalum Rod

Tantalum-10%tungsten and Tantalum-2.5%tungsten have a higher strength at elevated temperatures, and better corrosion resistance than pure tantalum.

Tantalum Wire

Tantalum wire is commonly used as the lead wires on tantalum capacitors. Tantalum wire was the first material used for filaments in light bulbs.
